Ways to Increase Your Energy

With all these stressing and exhausting times, we tend to end up depleted of energy. We unconsciously dissipate and waste our energy on people, situations, thought, attitudes, and events that do not serve us well. This leaves us with less space and energy for creating and attracting the kind of abundance that we want in our lives. Listed below are recommend to blossom your energy.

Release resistance

Resistance often feels as though we are going against ourselves in order to satisfy some internal authority or countless "shoulds", "oughts", and "have to’s".    Such feelings and behaviors include procrastination, stubbornness, and inflexibility. Other complex examples include the use of willpower and discipline to effect change ("I have to struggle to achieve what I want."), wanting to be right rather than happy ("I have to keep this marriage for the sake of our children."), or holding onto self-limiting beliefs way past their sell-by date ("I will never forgive you.").

Releasing resistance can be as easy as just making a decision to let go of whatever you are holding onto. If you think your resistance comes from deep within, you may want to seek professional help.

Reduce time watching TV

You may not notice it, but watching TV is very exhausting. Just observe yourself while watching TV continuously, and notice that you get extremely tired even with minimal movement. That is because you are merely a passive recipient of information that you are not fully engaged with. Taking in all of those TV rays (like in a computer monitor) is over-stimulating on a physiological level. Of course, while you are watching TV, it means that you are not doing something more productive.

But this does not mean you should eliminate watching TV. What you should do is to be more selective and watch only those programs that you are engaged with. It is advisable not to watch the TV news, as all of that "fear" being broadcast affects you subliminally.

Consciously create vacuums

If you clean out an area of your life, you are giving the Universe a message to bring in something to replace it. This is otherwise known as physical and energy clutter clearing. Most people find it easier to start with clearing out the physical which ahs an effect on their energies. You are consciously creating the space for change to occur and inviting what you want into your life. This is much easier than making an effort to make things happen.

Avoid dealing with "energy vampires"

Disassociate yourself from those whose energy drains you. However, it becomes a little more difficult if these "energy vampires" are your partner, member of your family, work colleague or boss. It helps to develop a stronger set of boundaries and protect your energy against their pessimism and lack of support.

Create a quiet time for yourself everyday

Not doing anything (unless if it relaxes you) is a great way to clear and refresh your mind. After all, we are human "beings," not "doings." There are times when our crowded schedule and minds do not allow space and time for the creative to be welcomed in. Quiet times range from the simplest meditation or locking yourself in your bedroom with a "chill-out" music playing at the background, to the most extravagant of sailing in the afternoons.
