Ketoacidosis Risk

When on a keto diet, the body goes through a process of ketosis, which happens when the body starts to burn body fat for fuel and energy. This happens when the body starts to store too much ketones, which is a byproduct of burning fat. This can lead to the blood becoming more acidic, evenutally causing damage to the brain, liver, and kidneys.
