Less active people are at higher risks of diabetes, heart attacks, and strokes. There are signs that will tell you if you need to become more active. Here are just some of them.

Difficulties With Stress

If you notice that you easily get overwhelmed about things, it may be a sign that you need to become more active. Your body is starting to get worse in handling stress in your life. Adding physical activity into your daily regimen can help you deal with it. Physical activity can help promote the release of neurotransmitters such as dopamine and serotonin. They help reduce cortisol levels in the body, which increases with stress.

Feeling Tired All The Time

Sitting in the couch and watching TV for long periods at a time may not seem tiring. Being sedentary can actually sap out your energy. Over time, you will feel tired and lethargic the longer you stay at home doing nothing. If you wish to bring a burst of energy to your body, getting some much needed physical activity might do the trick.

Increasingly Sore Joints  

Think again if you think being inactive can help preserve your joints and back from being abused with too much activity. But the opposite may be true. Inactivity can make your joints deteriorate.
